Ford dealerships in Houston
Q: What are the different Ford dealerships in Houston?
A: Yikes…there are a lot of Ford dealerships in Houston. I don’t think I could count them on my two hands, but I could be wrong. If you want to know what the best one is, it’s Planet Ford, easily. But, really, the Ford dealerships in Houston are of pretty good quality. I’ve only been to a couple of them, but I know a lot of people who have been to the others and they have a lot of good things to say.
- Planet Ford.
There are three locations. I live by the one that’s on I-45 in the Spring area, but there’s also one near Humble on I-59 and closer to Houston on Highway 6 south. Right now you can sign up for an instant savings certificate at their website and save five hundred dollars on whatever car you buy.
- Mac Haik Ford.
Mac Haik Ford is one of the few Ford dealerships in Houston that allows you to apply for a car loan online, which is pretty good, especially if you have bad credit. I know that it’s kind of embarrassing when you’re in the tiny room and the salesperson comes in to tell you that your credit is terrible and you’ll have to pay a billion dollars a month. It’s nice to be able to get that from a distance. haha
Mac Haik Ford is among the many Ford dealerships in Houston that are located on I-10, so if you want to brave the construction madness down there, all power to you. You can make it easier for yourself by applying online and scheduling a test drive online.
- Lonestar Ford.
This is the car dealership for true Texans, or so my brother in law says. Among the Ford dealerships in Houston, Lonestar does really stand out. I think one of the greatest things about them is that they have so many specials, and they have new ones every week. I just checked them out online, and there’s like fifteen specials there, and on some pretty nice cars.
2008 Ford Edge Overview
Reader’s Question:
I remember seeing the 2007 model for the Ford Edge here in Houston, Texas. Are there new updates for this model this year?
Andrea
Houston, TX
Ford Edge was introduced as a new product for the 2007 model year; the 2008 Edge provides more equipment and will be a Limited model. One major enhancements featured on this newer version is the Ford Sync communications and entertainment system. This system allows the driver to surf through radio stations and make phone calls using voice commands. This navigation system adds voice activation, one touch window controls, and a new interior package with red seating contrasted with stitches. Also available are power lift gate, 20-inch wheels and a universal garage door opener.
The new 2008 Ford Edge has better packaging than that of the previous model. It is 500 pounds lighter than an Explorer and enjoys an edge of two to three miles per gallon in fuel economy. I am about to swap my 2007 model for the newer version this month here in Houston, Texas and I am really excited about it. I enjoyed a short but sweet test drive with this SUV cross over that’s why I decided to let go off my 2007 model. I was also running a research about an affordable auto insurance that would be best for this upcoming purchase, and luckily, I found one on this web site.
Used 2008 Ford Edge in Houston Texas
Reader’s Question:
I am a Ford fan here in Houston, Texas and looking for a truck based SUV to replace my old truck. I’ve read some news releases about the 2008 Ford Edge. What difference does this Truck-based SUV has against other Ford SUVs?
Timothy
Houston, TX
I was able to do a test drive for the 2008 Ford Edge last month since I was also looking for an efficient SUV. The test drive lasted for about 2 hours on Houston, Texas freeways. I can describe the Ford Edge as a midsize crossover sport utility that runs on fuel economy and its road manners is better than that of a traditional truck based SUV. It has an all wheel drive and offers a large cargo space. It is also much easier to control and has full independent suspension. With a large cargo space, the back seats in the Edge are roomier than those in the Explorer, a benefit of its design. Being a midsize crossover, it is considered a competitor with the Nissan Murano, Toyota Highlander and CUVs, all of which are larger than their slippery styling suggests.
I also find the Ford Edge roomy and comfortable with fully foldable seats for big cargo carrying. The drive is really awesome, with good performance from a modern V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. I am actually raising my own funds to buy this SUV probably by December. I was already able to get a good car insurance policy from this web page that is perfect for the 2008 Ford Edge.
Houston Texas Ford Dealership
Reader’s Question:
What info do I require to carry to my Houston Ford dealership when I set off to purchase my car? –
Joseph of
Houston Texas
I just purchased my car last week from a Houston Ford dealership, so I still contain all of my things in my wallet. I am just going to haul it out and spool off to you what I have in here. It is a clutter.Initially, you are going to require all of your identifying info, for example your driver’s license. They may endeavor to reproduce this prior to you take one of the new cars that you like out for a test drive, but you can and ought to inform them no. They merely wish to do a credit check on each single car in the lot, but they can wait until you have in fact chosen a car. It is not necessary that they copy your license prior to you test drive. Rental car companies absolutely do not do it.
You are also required your proof of insurance, which they will also reproduce. It needs to be up to date, and it does not have to include your new car on it. More often than not you have about thirty days to include your new car from your Houston Ford dealership to your car insurance plan, and it will still be part of during that time.
If you do not have insurance, you can typically purchase it from the office of the Houston Ford dealership. Be ready to be there evermore. I think that the customer service representatives can sense that a person has by now been waiting five hours at a car lot, and they can be obtained for so long out of spite. You will also require info on where your job is, where your old employers, recent address, past address. Make sure that you get approximately 15 to 20 references ahead of time, with names, numbers, and addresses. And lastly, you will be required to show your last four paycheck stubs.

Usually you will have your mechanic to take a look at the car to know if its working condition is good. But a certified Ford in Houston TX means you already passed that step. A mechanic has already examine the working condition and quality of the car and certified that it’s in excellent condition and you have nothing to worry about that it will get you in to the trouble in the future. It’s better to find a certified one rather than buying one that is not certified by the dealer. It means you have to do some research, the car’s history, if it’s a flood salvage car, which is the common problem in a used car that’s in the used car dealerships in Houston TX.
