A: Ohhh, yeah, that confused me at first, too, but I asked the Ford dealer in Houston TX about it. I always get new cars from Planet Ford Houston. This has been my practice since I got my first car when I was sixteen under my dad’s name and worked at McDonald’s to pay it off. I guess it could be because of the location, which is right in my area, and it’s also the people. A lot of salespeople at car dealerships are so cheery and fake that it gets on my nerves, but the people at Houston Planet Ford are more real and often funny.
I like it for more reasons than just that, obviously. Mostly because every time I buy a car from Houston Planet Ford there is some kind of special going on for the very car that I want. It’s not that Planet Ford Houston is psychic, it’s just that they have a lot of specials on all kinds of vehicles, unlike some car dealerships which I will not name who only offer discounts on trucks. Since I’m a long time customer of them, though, I have a lot more to say than just things about their car price specials. The part of their service that I experience the most is their, well, service. Even if I might buy a car from Houston Planet Ford once every four years or so, I’m going several times a year for maintenance, service, and repair, and that’s what I see the most of.
First of all, when I got into an accident five years ago, Houston Planet Ford sent out a tow truck free of charge to bring my car to them. It would take a couple of days to repair it, but I didn’t have a ride or anyone to pick me up at the time. Lucky for me, Planet Ford Houston has a shuttle which takes people home if they live 15 miles from it or closer, so long as their car is in for collision repair. I also got a discount on the repair because I’m a Planet Citizen.
