Reader’s Question:
I just visited a Ford dealer here in Houston, Texas. I was surprised to know that Ford has reintroduced the classic Mustang car. Do you think that this model can compete with other luxury cars dominating the market?

The car market nowadays is dominated by SUV owners. But this is slowly pacing back especially now that the Ford Mustang has been reinvented and restyled. This one of kind breed had been racing in the market for sometime in several makes like the coupe, GT 500 and convertible versions. The Mustang has proven what it is worth. It survived the popularity boom of SUVs and even the oil crisis. Since its reintroduction in the market almost 3 years ago, it already captured 2 blocks of buyers, the creative new young buyer, and the conservative older reminiscent buyers. The 2008 Ford Mustang comes in several models like the convertible and coupe body styles. Some major features of the 2008 Mustang includes a standard 4.0 liter engine with SOHC V-6 which can produce up to 210 horsepower and 240lb feet of torque.
Indeed, the Mustang has emerged back with power and style. I still consider it the most powerful competitor in the car industry. Its price, descendant handling and its power is worth a legacy. One amazing fact that I’ve read in a related article is that Mustang still dominates the market with its ratio of 1 out of 2 racing car purchase is a Mustang. No doubt, the Ford Mustang continues to capture a large chunk of car buyers especially the attention it gets in the Houston, Texas area. You may contact a local Ford dealer to see that reality. I also want to put stress on the care of this legacy, great cars like the Mustang 2008 should always be pressed with a great insurance. Try to see the quotations within this site.

2008 Mustang Bullitt
Reader’s Question:
My family owns a series of Mustangs, I’m about to check on the latest Mustang Bullitt, but I am wondering what makes the Mustang Bullitt excel over other Ford Coupes?

This is the latest addition to the herd of Ford mustang cars, which was faithfully styled to celebrate the hero car in the famous chase scene which starred Steve McQueen. This car is tuned to a higher level than the standard GT. Some writers hailed it as no more than a hopped up Mustang. However, Ford proved something else. Instead of simply bolting on some modifications and re-tuning the setup, Ford re-engineered and painstakingly massaged the Bullitt to attain its additional performance. In other words, they did it the hard way which happens to be the the right way as well.
Ford claims that the current Mustang’s body/frame is 31% stiffer and I have no doubt about it. This Mustang is more rigid and rattle-free than its predecessor. A firm and tough foundation provides basis for good things, like improved ride quality, sharper handling, and less interior vibration.
The convertible (folding) top is simple and easy to operate. Release the hook from the windshield header and it powers back behind the rear seat with the touch of a button. The ultimate in posing requires that you manually install the optional boot cover, but the folded, exposed top and frame don’t look bad without it.
I only drove this coupe for just merely 30 minutes, along a not so busy freeway in Houston. I was quite impressed with its swift moves and drifts. It proves that Mustang has not only held its integrity in producing quality yet stylish cars, but reigned as well for several decades for producing compact quality coupes.
