This is the latest addition to the herd of Ford mustang cars, which was faithfully styled to celebrate the hero car in the famous chase scene which starred Steve McQueen. This car is tuned to a higher level than the standard GT. Some writers hailed it as no more than a hopped up Mustang. However, Ford proved something else. Instead of simply bolting on some modifications and re-tuning the setup, Ford re-engineered and painstakingly massaged the Bullitt to attain its additional performance.
