Champion Ford Dealers in Houston Texas
Reader’s Question:
I am considering of getting a Taurus from Champion Ford Houston, but do they allow trade ins?
Branden
Houston Texas
Champion Ford in Houston accepts trade in. I swapped my 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with them two years ago when I purchased my Ford Focus. It was not in a good condition. I made a phone call on one of the advertisements in the Green sheet where they say that they will pay money for cars. Initially, those stuffs are not worth it and I would warn against anyone using them. Everyone I talked to would only purchase my car for fewer than three hundred dollars. I had purchased that car for three thousand.
So, I visited the Champion Ford Houston to obtain my Focus and inquire if they get trade ins. The Champion Ford Houston sales person informs me yes and I spoke to him about the condition and make, model, year, and all of that. In the end, they ended up presenting me one thousand five hundred dollars for it–way more than I anticipated. I was not looking for big money, just, you know a slightly more than three hundred dollars.
The good thing is that you do not even have to phone them up or visit them to see if they will take your trade in any longer, since they have this craze on the Champion Ford Houston dealer website that allows you to know how much your car is. I always get new cars from Planet Ford Houston. This has been my carried out ever since I got my first car when I was sixteen under my dad’s name and worked at McDonald’s to pay it off. I guess it could be for the reason that of the location, which is right in my district and it is also the people. A lot of sales person at car dealerships are so jolly and phony that it gets on my nerves, but the people at Houston Planet Ford are more genuine and often hilarious.
I hope I was able to help.
Buying a New Ford Vehicle in Houston Texas
Reader’s Question:
I do not know what model I am going to obtain yet for my new car, but I do know that it is going to be from a Ford dealer in Houston. Is there anything concerning cost that I ought to have a look out for while I am shopping for cars at a Ford dealer in Houston?

Sharon, if you are planning on going to a Ford dealer in Houston, you absolutely should know what type of car you are going to get ahead of time. First of all, they regularly sell all types of cars even with the given name of Ford dealer in Houston, so the great selection can be confusing, more so if you are a first time buyer. My little sister go to a Ford dealer in Houston with not having researched what she liked the first time, and albeit she asked to see Fords, she ended up with a Chrysler.
But you should also know prior to purchasing a car which one you like, and a good means to settle on that is to think out what the expenses will be after you purchase the car. If your credit is not so good, then you should perhaps get a less expensive car, because or else your monthly payments will be vast and so on. Some cars value more than others to keep. No-one costs more for an oil change for one car over another, however if you acquire a certain type of car then the parts can be quite expensive. I had a BMW on one occasion and the costs of the parts, even the black market ones, were a killer. Think about that ahead of purchasing any European car.
Trucks and SUVs seem great and drive great and have good performance and all that, but they also cost several hundred dollars per month to keep filled up. Unless you are prepared to make that type of commitment or initiate riding your bike a lot, you need to keep away. Anytime you purchase a new car, its price goes down really quickly as soon as you drive it off the lot. The first two years are the nastiest. But there are cars decreases in value more quickly than others, so you can get a car that decrease in value slowly and if you ever need to sell it, you might in fact make a little money off of it.
Insurance is an immense cost. For us it is about a thousand dollars a year and it might probably be less if we possess more insurable cars. If you get a secure, not so expensive car that is not on the mainly stolen list, then you are probably good to go.
2008 Ford Focus Houston Texas
Reader’s Question:
I have seen some advertisements about the 2008 Ford focus here in Houston, Texas. My dad plans on buying the Ford Focus, but he still wants me to research about it first. Can you feature a review about this vehicle?
Sally
Houston, TX
The Ford Focus has been in the market for a few years now. Looking at a parked 2008 Ford Focus, I can say that a lot of improvements had been developed on its body. But this one shows a more refreshed version as compared to the traditional Focus passing in front of you on a busy street in Houston, Texas. Starting with the body style, I find it to be conservative, but just good enough as compared to the 2003 Focus. Climbing inside, you will find that the controls are easy to use and require little automotive knowledge. I can say it is such a smart and simple lay out.
Pricing for this model is market competitive, but only if you are just looking at the Focus. Several visits to car dealers quote out at just under $16k with the specified equipment. And price expectation ranges from $700-900 between invoice and MSRP, but the end product will leave buyers wanting more. It’s one of a few good cars which needs market attention; the 2008 Ford Focus will find its buyers no problem. I still find it too crucial for economy cars like the Ford focus to survive in the car industry. But who knows, maybe Ford would still come up with better Focus models. And since you mentioned that you plan to purchase this type of car, I think you can add up on some of your research the best insurance that should go with your car. Houston Ford Car Repairs
Reader’s Question:
What sort of Houston Ford repair specials are of existence right now? Who has the finest?
Tara
Houston, TX
I recognize many people acquire their Houston Ford repair done at the dealership where they procured their car, but I reside too distant from mine and so I do not have the time to drive along there just to get hold of an oil change, even if it is only each five months or so. As an alternative I normally visit the Ford Doctors in Houston, for the reason that they are familiar about Houston Ford repair and have been so accommodating to me.
Each time I have ever gotten my Houston Ford repair completed at the Ford Doctors, I have had exceptional service. My car was completed during the day. I could acquire rental cars at Ford Doctors in Houston for cheap price, or if I did not like to hire a car they had available transport for those individuals that live nearby. A number of times I did not even have to visit Ford Doctors. They pulled out my vehicle up and they delivered it back. I barely even knew it left. I just had a great day watching TV inside my house while my Houston Ford repair was being repaired.
Ford Dealer in Houston
Q: I don’t know what model I’m going to get yet for my new car, but I do know that it’s going to come from a Ford dealer in Houston (I live in Katy…and, no, it’s not the same thing). Is there anything regarding cost that I should have an eye out for while I’m shopping for cars at a Ford dealer in Houston?
A: If you’re going to go to a Ford dealer in Houston, you definitely should know what kind of car you’re going to get ahead of time. First of all, they usually sell all kinds of cars even with the name of Ford dealer in Houston, so the vast selection can be disorienting, especially if you’re a first time buyer. My little sister went to a Ford dealer in Houston without having researched what she wanted first, and even though she asked to see Fords, she ended up coming a way with a Chrysler…
But you should now before you buy a car which one you want, and a good way to decide on that is to figure out what the costs will be after you buy the car. If you’re credit isn’t so great, then you should probably get a cheaper car, because otherwise your monthly payments will be huge, and so on.
- Cost of maintaining your car.
This is a huge deal. Some cars cost more than others to maintain. Nobody charges more for an oil change for one car over another, but if you get a certain kind of car then the parts can be pretty expensive. I had a BMW once and the prices of the parts, even the aftermarket ones, were killer. Think about that before you buy any European car, really.
- Gas, miles per gallon, etc.
Trucks and SUVs look great and drive well and have great performance and all that, but they also cost several hundred dollar a month to keep filled up. Unless you’re ready to make that kind of commitment or start riding your bike a lot, you need to stay away.
- Depreciation.
Anytime you buy a new car, it depreciates really quickly as soon as you drive it off the lot. The first couple of years are the worst. But some cars depreciate more quickly than others, so you can get a car that depreciates slowly and if you ever need to sell it, you might actually make some money off of it.
- Car insurance.
Insurance is a big expense. For us it’s around a thousand dollars a year, and would probably be less if we owned more insurable cars. If you get a safe, not so expensive car that isn’t on the most stolen list, then you’re probably good to go.
Planet Ford Houston Dealership
I always get new cars from Planet Ford Houston. This has been my practice since I got my first car when I was sixteen under my dad’s name and worked at McDonald’s to pay it off. I guess it could be because of the location, which is right in my area, and it’s also the people. A lot of salespeople at car dealerships are so cheery and fake that it gets on my nerves, but the people at Houston Planet Ford are more real and often funny.
I like it for more reasons than just that, obviously. Mostly because every time I buy a car from Houston Planet Ford there is some kind of special going on for the very car that I want. It’s not that Planet Ford Houston is psychic, it’s just that they have a lot of specials on all kinds of vehicles, unlike some car dealerships which I will not name who only offer discounts on trucks. I have never wanted a truck, nor will I ever, so the variety from Houston Planet Ford is good for me.
Since I’m a long time customer of them, though, I have a lot more to say than just things about their car price specials. The part of their service that I experience the most is their, well, service. Even if I might buy a car from Houston Planet Ford once every four years or so, I’m going several times a year for maintenance, service, and repair, and that’s what I see the most of.
First of all, when I got into an accident five years ago, Houston Planet Ford sent out a tow truck free of charge to bring my car to them. It would take a couple of days to repair it, but I didn’t have a ride or anyone to pick me up at the time. Lucky for me, Planet Ford Houston has a shuttle which takes people home if they live 15 miles from it or closer, so long as their car is in for collision repair. I also got a discount on the repair because I’m a Planet Citizen.
